San Diego rents actually have been dropping after increasing more than 21% in a year. Asking rents continued to fall in the San Diego apartment market in November, marking three months of decline in a row. Currently, the overall median rent in the city stands at $2,384, after falling 1.4% last month. Prices remain up 6.0% year-over-year.
